Backlit Fern Frond

While on our Blogger Family Photoshoot I noticed Amy shooting some ferns whose fronds had begun to change colors. After she finished I took my turn shooting and selected this single backlit frond.

I wonder if she captured a better image than I

So simple! My shots turned out to be too cluttered, too much "stuff" in them. I have three or four shots of that same frond, but there's all sorts of other woodland items in the way. I love that the background in yours is thrown out of focus. This is perfect!

I agree with Ash about the background. Well done and NIce detail.

Backgrounds sometimes work and sometimes don't. This one is really nice without the details of the background.

I was also reminded of lacework by this superb picture. It is made all the better for the darkness of the back ground.
