This morning while photographing with Willard we encountered a flock of Eastern Wild Turkey Gobblers, just in time for Thanksgiving!
As the Pennsylvania turkey hunting season is past; Thanksgiving should present no problem for this beautiful Gobbler.

I wish I could understand all that gibbish in the camera instruction book. I'd love to know how to blur out the background like you did in this photo.
We have turkeys that visit our field but I believe yours is better looking than ours!
Dot... it all has to do with depth of field. Look for that heading in your book.

What a grand bird! Lucky, too, that he's managed to escape hunting season! I saw one wild turkey here a couple of weeks ago, first time I've seen one on the Cape in all my years living here (I think the coyotes are to blame). But we do have our fair share of turkey vultures. Happy Thanksgiving!
