SkyWatch: Elk County Sunset

The fog rising from the mountains following a brief shower added to the beauty of this glorious Elk County sunset.

This photograph was taken about 45 minutes earlier than the shot featured in my previous post.

What a difference 45 minutes make! The different shades of gold is amazing and very beautiful.

This is really really nice. I love all the hues of orange and the silhouette. We don't have that here.

Salty: What neat yellows and gold you have in this sunset.

Beautiful landscape, Salty. I almost can't believe that and the Fred shot were within an hour's time. You could easily sell prints of either one. (I'm glad you decide to share 'em with us all for free here, though. That's why your blog is a daily stop for me!)

Looks like we were there about the same time shooting the area. :)

Give me a beep next time you're in the area, I can always use new tips on getting better shots. :)

Yet another (gorgeous) reason why I would love to come to your 'neck of the woods'. Absolutely breathtaking and spectacular.
