Assateague Birdlife

No visit to Chincoteague would be complete without spending some time observing the vast numbers of birds.  The following are some of the better photographs that I was able to capture during our short visit this year.

Dandy photos. Assateague is a great place -- we loved it 35 years ago when there were fewer humans and the beach that storms have eroded extended further south.

You were there before me. I've been going there off and on for about 20 years and its changed some in that time. I like going in the fall after the beach crowds have gone home for the season.
