Day's End

With work currently being a mad rush to nowhere, this is nearly all of the day I have recently been able to enjoy. I watch with interest the hustle and bustle of managers trying to get the maximum amount of product to market with little or no regard for the increased cost associated. Expensive mistakes which normally are rare have become the routine with some costing thousands of dollars each.

Thankfully vacation is near, only three more days to go until I can immerse myself in the fields and forest of Pennsylvania. The raucous calls of crows will be a welcome change from the din of the factory.

  1. It is so sad that some of those people never learn. They are much like a squirrel frantically running about hiding acorns, but then he meets an untimely end and never enjoys the fruits of his labor.

I hope you enjoy your time away from the "madhouse"

Beautiful sunset picture too. I like the composition of the sun peeking through the trees.

  3. Wonderful sunset. Immersing myself in the fields and forests (I love how you phrased that) has always been a great stress-reliever for me, wish I could do it far more frequently!

  9. Beautiful shot. Love the eagle one too.

I emailed the Historical Society to ask them the meaning of my blue wall mural photo. They gave me an interesting description. Please stop by my site to read about it. Thanks.
