After the Rain




After a particularly rainy spell that ended in the evening the fog began lifting from the valley floor.

    There is something peaceful in that fog. Isn't it funny how the sky can look so very different from moment to moment and from place to place? It's such an amazing thing!

    Nice feel to your sky image. I also used to shoot a minotla 101 then x700 and now I use a canon 5d. and like you am rediscovering my phography.

    I love trips through the mountains when you see the fog rise - it is magical for me.
    I've seen three fog shots so far - must have been the weather this week. :)
    Rose mentions Tennessee and I'm thinking those Smokey Mountains.

    Wow, what beautiful scenery. The pail pink in the sky is pretty. I like looking across the hills and seeing the fog like that. Great SWF.

    Nice moody capture in difficult circumstances, the variation between the shadows and highlights is hard to balance. Makes me feel I am standing on the top of the world LOL.
