Our autumn foliage, although not at its peak yet, is colorful enough to entice one out for a nice afternoon drive through the countryside.
Our Sunday afternoon drive included traveling northbound on the Bark Road through a part of the Buchanan State Forest. In some sections the colors were quite nice
At one of our many stops my wife leaned over a small bridge with her little Lumix and shot this foliage reflection in the little rippling pool below. I think she captured the best shot of the day!
It looks as if its a painting but great photo
ReplyDeleteOh my,the reflection shot is amazing.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
Lovely fall colors. The reflection shot is wonderful. I liked the titmouse photo too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn colors Coy... Not something I'm gonna get around here nowadays!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn colors, looks like a wodnerful drive.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Fall Colors not being in full, just yet. The same applies up here on this end. The area is very spotty. I think that everything will come into color while we are down in Florida. BAH!

Lovely photos. The one of the reflection has the quality of a Monet painting.
ReplyDeleteI love the reflection shot too. It has a very watercolor feel to it. How does your wife like her Lumix? I'm still learning to use mine and do miss my viewfinder.
ReplyDeleteAs I do not handle cold weather well, getting photos like these is one of the only things I look forward to this time of year ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis coming Saturday, I will be taking my co-worker's family photos... outside. She wants to have the kids playing in leaves, and have the colors of autumn in her photos. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates!
As always, great shots, my friend!
Stunning views... I had to double check the reflection.. ;o)
ReplyDeleteDad,
