A White-throated Sparrow and a Tufted Titmouse appear to be sharing guard duties watching out for each other.
While shooting this series I was focusing both my lens and my attention on the White-throated Sparrow in the foreground, barely noticing the Titmouse behind. It wasn’t until I reviewed the images later that I noticed their coordinated poses.
Lovely photos! That Titmouse has a ghostlike quality in the photo. One of those shots that if you had tried to achieve it, it wouldn't have worked!
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute.I especially like the first picture.

ReplyDeleteHi Coy,
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful bird... Its color pattern is a pure beauty and your pictures too... I love the tufted titmouse in the background. Well done ;-)
Super shots, great detail and depth of field. You have me looking for tree parts for here at my house now, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots (again). White-throateds are so pretty with their little yellow "headlights".
ReplyDeleteCool behavior! I never knew...
