The male Northern Cardinal posed nicely for his photograph while perched among the poke weed
This male Red-breasted Woodpecker is now allowing me to photograph him from about ten feet away. His perch may not give away the fact that he is sitting on a natural bird feeder but the corn grain clutched tightly in his beak tells the rest of the story.
...your capture of the Red-bellied Woodpecker is gorgeous! ...and I always love photos of Red!
