Great Blue Heron: Flight & Landing

A Great Blue Heron soars across shallow water passing over a sunning alligator

And then picks a more suitable spot to touch down

    Great captures. The Heron is so graceful in flight but looks like he is all legs on landing. :)

    Great shots, Coy! I've never seen one with a heron flying over an alligator and I like the semi-touchdown in the second shot!
