After much media fanfare winter storm Jonas arrived yesterday afternoon. Snowing fell throughout the night and continued until dusk leaving about two feet of white powder in its wake. The following are a few images I captured when I hiked to the farm today to feed the livestock.
All that snow makes for some pretty pictures, but I'm sure it makes working outside more difficult as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow scenes but heavy work unknowing those bales to feed your cattle. We have the reverse problem since all our grass has been baked in the continuing heat waves. At least we can unroll the silage for them in the paddock without having to stall feed.
ReplyDeleteMust be really hard walking in 2' of powder. I certainly don't envy you.
Beautiful captures!
ReplyDeleteThe sun came out here today - I hope it did for you as well. Let the melting begin :)
