Beauty in Flight

This Monarch tired of the “One Eyed Monster” hovering over her. I was aware my shutter fired just a moment to late but I was pleasantly surprised when I reviewed the image.

I would have preferred her to be sharper but in nature photography it is not possible to ask the subject for a retake.

Mr. & Mrs. Salty,

You guys have been busy! Look at all these beautiful pictures. I did a double take on the gargoyle shot, thought maybe you snuck off to Europe while I wasn't looking :)

Hey Salty! I tried to visit yesterday, but your pics wouldn't load for some reason. Anyhow, it was great to see you on my blog! Thanks for stopping by.

This Monarch is gorgeous. I've seen more of them this year in Toronto than I have in the last 10 years combined!

Really nice in-flight capture. I haven't seen many butterflies this year so I am enjoying yours.

Top Shot, great to see this one in flight. The curve of its body acting like a rudder to escape the 'one eyed monster' is so different from other butterfly pictures.
My Gargoyle...Jane... loves your blog as well.

Hi Thanks, but NO thanks I must thank you for making such a great photo's such as this butterfly,

You were wondering what the photo (header of my blog) was about? This is a boat shelter, but a very old one, with broken glas and a wooden ceiling, I was so attracted by this boatdock, its for my blog as my title " The windows are my eyes" this way I show the visiters of my blog "the world through my eyes" ( the windows or my camera)
