The stone structure appears strong but with the holes in the roof the future of this house is questionable.
Again I used Photoshop to achieve a monotone effect in this photo.
I have been working lately with a few hundred old family photographs that we borrowed from relatives. Scanning and restoration has been both time consuming and very rewarding. I was inspired by those old photographs to create the effects you see here.

It will be a sad day when this drops to the floor... it really is nice, and looks the part in like this.
Hey Salty, I started scanning for family a couple of years ago. Lots of b/w pics from Vietnam that my parents brought when we came over. You are right, it's time consuming but so worth it to share among family members so we can all have it accessible and just in case something happens to the originals.

Also when you are working with old photos, so many times, the people who know who the people were in the old photos can be contacted to find out if they know who they are.
I made a feeble attempt several years ago to put names, in pencil, on the backs of some of my photos that are now over half a century old and gave up. It is a monumental task. So in the end of my time, no doubt, some garage sale will have a box of old photos setting there for $1.00.
I like the monotone effect of this. Does make it look like a "vintage" shot.

Really love the aged look of this place. It just invites one in to listen to the stories of its past.
I wish my in laws had put information on all the old photos. Its such a guessing game and most who would know are long gone. They may end up as Abraham said at a garage sale for a buck...
