Summer Flowers

The Fulton County Courthouse and a red petunia combine to create a colorful reminder of the beauty of the summer season.

In the middle of winter I find myself anticipating the more pleasant days ahead.

I have petunias growing like that in my yard right now in western PA....yeah, right! It's so darn cold I almost forgot what a petunia looks like. Luckily for me, I saw them in Florida this past week. Nice shot, Salty!

I can't wait for summer too. This looks like a nice sunny day.

Great post Salty.. I feel much the same way... we have had no snow and only a bit of frost... cold winds and plenty of rain.
This is a most welcome picture.

A splash of color is good for the soul.
We're having another grey blah day here in "Sunny" California. Weatherman says more rain is coming.

the striking red color of the flowers looks quite stunning.

great shot, the backlighting on the flowers and good depth of field so building and flowers are in focus.... a really HAPPY feel-good photo!
