Icy Buds



Mountain Laurel buds encased in Crystal


The ice storm transformed the appearance of my surroundings. What previously was mundane and unattractive had become amazingly beautiful.

This crazy weather is hard on everything and if it stays warm, like this, we are in for a lot of dead plants and trees and bushes and insects come real summer.

I agree, ice gives everything a different look. Kind of a reminder what life must have been like in the caves. Cold.

This looks like each bug as grown in its own little bottle.... I've seen apples and Pears that have been grown inside bottles then the bottles are fill with some form of liquior

Looks a bit chilly but you are right the ice really does change the appearance. It looks soooo cool!! :) :)I like how it forms around the buds.. that is amazing!
