Rushing Thunder

While waiting for the traffic light to change during my evening commute I heard the rushing roaring sound of a freight train. A glance in the side mirror revealed the train crossing over the bridge behind. Recognizing this as a “Chadesque” photo-op I readied my little Canon S2 IS and aimed it into the mirror.

Later I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this image while viewing it on the computer.

If you haven’t checked out my son Chad’s photoblog click here, you’ll be glad you did.

Wow, that is cool! Did you read the story about my Dad's train? This reminds me of him.

And yeah...I like that blog of your son's...just wish he'd write more often (that's a hint, Chad!)

Love the way you captured the action in this shot and it definitely is a Chad-shot.

This is a very cool capture, I find that my off the cuff snaps are normally more appealing than ones I try to set up LOL.

Thanks for your visits to my blog and the info on the Hawk, hopefully I will get an opportunity to see it closer and in better light while I have my camera with me.

I have enjoyed catching up on your past few posts and photos. Take care and thanks again.

I few years ago I was working for a surveillance firm, the target was drug dealing on a housing estate... I filmed a deal by focusing in on their mirror. The footage was used in evidance. The company also used it as an example on the CD that they sent out to clients. I was well pleased. That was the best Job I ever had, the money was very good, but I would have worked for less because of the feeling it give me.
