SkyWatch: Rural Pennsylvania Skies

Bright blue skies with fluffy white clouds only tell part of the story, the snow on the mountain tells the rest. It is Cold in Pennsylvania!!

The house pictured here is that of an elderly neighbor. This is the last occupied home in our area that I am aware of that has never been connected to the power grid. I suppose if one never had electricity one would not miss it.

Those clouds are beautiful. Well at least your neighbors wouldn't have to set around worry about when their power would come back on. I could not imagine living without power. I would go crazy without my computer. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. =)

That's a real nice Photo. Good job. It's darn cold here, too! About 18 degrees! Brrrr! Too cold for me.

Stay warm! - Les

Interesting. You have to travel far and wide to find those ... especially if they are not camps or seasonal homes. Very scenic: reminds me of my native Mudderland: Harford County Maryland ... at least the northern half that's close to PA. Both are god's country!

Very pretty scenery with the un-electrified house. They probably don't read your blog!

It is easy to live without electricity but definitely not my computer which connects me to the outside world. So, where is the line drawn between what you need and what you want? On the otherhand, I guess I lived for so many years in the bush without a PC, I could easily give it up in order to live there again. A lovely shot of the countryside Coy.
