Late Evening Snow Scene

Long after sundown an evergreen tree heavily laden with snow became the subject of this winter scene.

With the camera set at ISO-100, 1.6 sec, F/6.3, 130mm and anchored on the tripod I was very pleased with the results.

As I make this post the snow is again falling. The forecast calls for 10-20 inches followed by high wind.

Yes, I tend to agree with your results. This is something else that I've thought of doing sometime, but just never seem to get there.

Again, the snow is falling here also. I took some Images of what our area looked like from the past snowfall on my Blog. Now, we are in for another major storm. At some time I'll try and get out with my Pentax and capture some Images of a wooded or open area that is near-by.

Stay warm, Coy

Beautiful photo! If you get that high wind you will have a real mess. Hopefully all will go well.

Love this photo. Nice photo. I'm a little late seeing this post. Hope you survived all the snow and wind.
