If the storm resulted in any power outages, I was unaware. I marvel how electricity can flow through these cables without any outward sign of the power rushing within.

I am like you, Salty, how it works always amazed me. I would think the wires could or perhaps should glow red hot like burners on my wife's kitchen stove.

wow I have never seen ice like that.. Very cool looking though. It does seem amazing that electricity can work ... Does it get heavy on the lines and break them? I guess not!! :) :)
We had similar conditions last Friday. My biggest problem wasn't the roads, it was getting the ice off my truck to get the door open. But the ice sure does make for cool photos. You got a couple of good ones, Salty.
