Colt’s Foot is now blooming every sunny day in my area. It is usually found along roadsides where open ground is shaded by deciduous trees during the summer months keeping competing plants and grasses at bay.
Colt’s Foot flowers close at night and during periods of cloudy weather. They only open during times of sunshine
Love the colors of the flowers on your shrub. I can only imagine how pretty it will be when it blooms! We still have at least another month before we will see that here in Massachusetts.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pink flowers even when thay are not fully open.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
The spring bloom is presently exciting. Today we saw trillium blooming.
ReplyDeleteYou need to send spring back this way. I think it's forgotten us! We had that bad ice storm a few weeks ago, and just this week we had another freeze. I'm ready for GREEN!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see Spring "popping" up everywhere on the blogs. I'm a little behind here with the flowers and such but it shouldn't be too much longer as we have been getting a really good stretch of warm weather.
ReplyDeleteThe pink flowers are delightful and quite attractive...
Happy Easter to you all!
Your Colt's Foot looks like our Dandelions! (lol). The pink blooms are pretty too. Spring's on its way!
ReplyDeleteSalty: Neat blooms for spring.
