I'll Watch Your Back if You Watch Mine

A White-throated Sparrow and a Tufted Titmouse appear to be sharing guard duties watching out for each other.

While shooting this series I was focusing both my lens and my attention on the White-throated Sparrow in the foreground, barely noticing the Titmouse behind. It wasn’t until I reviewed the images later that I noticed their coordinated poses.

Lovely photos! That Titmouse has a ghostlike quality in the photo. One of those shots that if you had tried to achieve it, it wouldn't have worked!

Hi Coy,
This is a beautiful bird... Its color pattern is a pure beauty and your pictures too... I love the tufted titmouse in the background. Well done ;-)

Super shots, great detail and depth of field. You have me looking for tree parts for here at my house now, LOL.

Lovely shots (again). White-throateds are so pretty with their little yellow "headlights".
