What is a gesture worth when you don't communicate in words?
Photographing wildlife is not without its humorous moments. I'm certain that the right-hand buck meant no disrespect as he was feeding at the moment that the other buck alerted upon seeing a coyote approaching.
Beautiful shot! Such nice background and coloring.
ReplyDeleteNice image, Coy. Was it by any chance taken at Shenandoah National Park, up on Skyline Drive? The habitat looks familiar.

Hahahaha! LOVE it! He's saying "Coyote Schmyote - I ain't afraid of no stinkin coyote!" :-)
ReplyDeleteFun capture, although the gesture probably means something different in deer language, or more likely nothing at all.
ReplyDeleteOh,that's good. Snapped at just the right moment.
ReplyDelete........this is it. :) Great capture.
ReplyDeleteBucks stick their tongues out at me all the time.
ReplyDeleteI love it. There are so many possible captions. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this picture! It was captured at the perfect moment. This was no doubt one of those pictures that you didn't really know how cool it was until you downloaded the picture.
