Our Life in Pictures

While I love to capture the moment, my wife’s passion is to organize and preserve it. Her driving passion is scrapbooking. We review my digital photo files regularly and pick which photos make the grade to be included in her record of our lives. Along with the photos she writes notes telling our life’s story, the good and the bad, so that we can look back and reflect.

Her ultimate goal is to create a record that future generations can page through and come to an understanding of who we were.

That really is a good idea. I see me there in the corner frame!

I am having problems posting a comment on your site. I hope this 3rd try will go through. Great shot for a memory album. Wish my inlaws had done that. When they passed away they left lots of loose pictures and many questions of who, what, where and when. It was very frustrating.

What a wonderful thing to do for future generations.

My wife is a scrapbooking maniac. Each of my children have their own books which are added onto periodically. Even now as kids, the youngest is 4, and they all love to sit down and look at their books.

So will this photo be appearing in a scrapbook? :-)
I love the soft lighting in the photo--it evokes the warm feelings of home.

Lucy, this pic will certainly go in a scrapbook. Maybe some day she will do a scrapbook on scrapbooking :-)

Wouldn't surprise me if she did.
