Making the approach for landing, a flock of Canada geese grace the bright winter sky.

Wonderful shot! I had two geese fly directly over my head this afternoon but no camera. When will I learn! You obviously have!
Beautiful! Both sky and geese! I live near by a lake in Oslo where Candaian geese come every spring. It's a joy to visit the lake and see them and other birds. I see you have a lot of wonderful photos of birds on your blog - this is my first visit! I enjoyed it!
Such a gorgeous sky w/ the Canada Geese. I am very happy to have found this blog!
Excellent shot, and your header photo is spectacular.
Have a great weekend.

Beautiful shot. I like the shot yesterday too.
My Skywatch blog is on Abraham Lincoln's Blog
I am glad to see they are coming home!
Not to sound like a broken record but wonderful shot Salty. Spring must be getting close if they are flying home. Hope you have a wonderful Friday!
LOL, at first I thought you were in Canada, and I was like hey they don't let us southern boys up in there!
Great shot. Also I see a lot familar faces have found their way to your blog. Kallen is a joy and Abe is the best.
Great post Salty,

Nice shot. Photography is indeed your thing. I just snap pictures for fun. Yours is a great post. I love it.
Spring is in the air it seems Coy. Great shot.
A great capture as always Coy.
You mentioned the use of flash on my site (by the way thanks for the great comments) it is not something that I normally use, the guy I was with used his alott and sugested it. If you check out Ken Congers gear I think he uses his often. He even shows an attatchment for long lens. I think I will invest in one. I guess the hard part is reading the light and knowing when to use it as a fill in flash. I know I plan to try it more often in hopes of better results.
You know you and your brother can get me in trouble, I just mentioned to my wife of your recent trip and the need to go there sometime.
Next time you go to Florida go to the Viera wetlands, amazing place and almost certain to see some gators up close.
I like the Canada sky, seeing I live in Canada.
Blessings,Ruth
They are just beautiful in flight. The sound of their wings is so haunting...
I'm always a big sentimental, being a Marylander, that Delaware wasn't just included as a part of Maryland. Is it too late?
Always brilliant birds.
A lot of the geese have left here...I miss seeing them every day. Your shot reminds me of airplanes flying in formation.
Wonderful choice for SWF. In some weeks these geese will return to Norway. That is a real sign of spring for me.
Have a great weekend :-)
Fly away fly away fly away home!A Canadaian goose here enjoying the view!
Wonderful capture!
Really nice shot - Happy SWF!
stunning shot.
Sorry I have not visited you in quite some time. I’ve not forgotten about your blog. I will return early April. Hope to have some great pictures and stories to share.
Salty: What a neat shot of a strange flying formation.
A great capture! :)
Awesome photo... I'm still gazing the skies for these birds and have yet to see them!!
