Willard for a morning of photographing the local Wild Turkey activity.
The Turkey breeding season is in full swing and we were treated to a good encounter with a flock of strutting gobblers at close range. The light could have been better but a close-in encounter with mature strutting gobblers always makes for a memorable event.
Even if the light was not perfect the picture is.. Gorgeous to see so many of them behaving! Well done!
I think this looks pretty good.Have a great weekend.
This is an impressive group of turkeys! Looks like the one in the middle is in charge! Great shot!
Those are just beautiful, Coy.
Coy, I am glad that you were able to get such a good image. I also learned from you that this is their season as well, thus I shall be on the look-out from my area. Have a super weekend~
What an awesome capture Coy. they are certainly strutting their stuff.
A nice capture of those strutting Toms. I see that you've changed your format for your Blog. Nice change. Looks real good.
That's a great clutch of turkeys! I can only hope to see the same! Well done.
Ooooh, terrific capture! They are awesome birds.
Beautiful capture! Like an Indian headdress... stunning. Those near our home several weeks ago did not perform as these, but we were entertained with their repeated 'gobble' to a friend across the fence.
Now these birds are very familiar to me. While I don't have a decent photo of them, I do see lots of them in my yard.
Oh W.O.W.!!! What an amazing image! Everything about this is outstanding, my friend.
