She is listening to a sound behind her -- to her left. I suspect something snapped back there or another deer snorted. My goodness she is precious. What a beautiful animal and so well photographed. It is just amazing to see big animals like this when the largest thing we ever see is a raccoon here in 2006.
I am pretty much involved now in this 365project.org and am getting an opportunity to educate a lot of ladies and gentlemen in the fine art of macro photography. lol
"What are you staring at?" LOL, seriously, though... I think your photography gets better every time I stop by. These images are truly stunning. Any tips?
Hi Coy, Without any contest, the second one is my favorite... The composition is superb as well as the sharpness... you got many nice posts while I was in holidays... Congrats and thanks for sharing!
Hi Coy! I was up to Elk County last week and had a great time photographing the elk again. Can't wait for the fall rut! These are great photos of the whitetail deer! I just added your link to my blog. Thanks!

Coy,
I am trying to catch up after bing aways the last few weeks. Were these local bucks or SNP deer? I am ready for a trip south myself.
That was one big fish you caught a few post ago, LOL.
I hope all is well with everyone at home and I hope to see you in the wild soon.
Deligtful photos! "Why won't the paparazzi just leave me alone?"
