Sweet photo. I'm always amazed at how patient animal parents are with their children while teaching them. So much to learn in so little time.

Oh man oh man oh man... I really want to see a fawn and photograph it. We've had SO much trouble with ticks (it's almost like an infestation) that I gave up walking through my fields and woods along my ditches where the deer love to hang out... but, now that Hubs has been make hay in those fields, I'm thinking maybe it won't be too bad to walk back there again... at least I hope not, because I sure miss it.

This is a great shot and really put a HUGE smile on my face.

Good for you to be able to capture such a shot...I never seem to have my camera handy at such a moment. I've seen lots of doe in my yard but the fawn seem to stay away.
