Holy smokes, Coy! These shots are incredible!! Since the dredging in my area, the heron have gone elsewhere in search of fish. I miss them.

Coy, Blue Herons are always fun to watch and photograph. On your previous post it sounds like you had a very good day. But then just being out on the boat with the line in the water is a fun time.

Coy, these are great images! Did you by chance see my Great Blue images about two weeks ago? They certainly are fun to capture in images and those eyes, their massive wings in flight, oh my, what beauty~

It is indeed majestic, and these photos are absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! We have a Blue Heron which visits our backyard pond, but it ALWAYS sees me, before I see it. The only shots I can get of it are of it flying away.
